Solvent extraction of nickel from iron and cobalt containing sulfate solutions

چکیده
In this study, solvent extraction is applied for extracting nickel from sulfate solutions containing iron and cobalt ions. This process can also be the cleaning of waste increasing solution concentrations after leaching low-grade ores. Di-2-Ethylhexyl phosphoric acid (D2EHPA) was used as an extractant purpose. Effects pH, aqueous/organic (A/O) phase ratio, iron, ion contents on efficiency were investigated. The McCabe-Thiele diagrams stripping steps developed to determine number stages required. A total two required 96.3% Ni a strip with 98% efficiency.
